Dr. Zane Gard, DC

Founder, Walker Road Chiropractic

For Dr. Zane Gard, chiropractic care has never been about simply treating back pain.

It's about helping people understand what their bodies are trying to tell them.

Since opening Walker Road Chiropractic in 2001, Dr. Gard has helped thousands of patients improve their quality of life through personalized chiropractic care.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, he takes time to uncover the underlying cause of pain, movement limitations, and dysfunction before recommending treatment.

Every patient has a different story.

Every body responds differently.

That's why every treatment plan is designed around the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

A Lifelong Passion for Helping People

Dr. Gard's passion for chiropractic began long before he earned his doctorate.

Growing up around medical doctors and osteopathic physicians, he was also introduced to the practical benefits of chiropractic care at an early age. Watching people regain movement, improve their health, and return to activities they thought they had lost inspired the path he would eventually choose.

Today, he often describes chiropractic as a detective story.

Every patient brings clues.

Pain is one clue.

Muscle weakness, restricted movement, old injuries, posture, and daily habits all provide valuable information. His goal is to understand why the body is responding the way it is and develop a treatment plan that helps restore healthy movement and function.

It's this curiosity and commitment to solving problems that continues to drive his practice today.

More Than Chiropractic Care

One of Dr. Gard's greatest passions is helping patients understand their own bodies.

He believes that informed patients make better decisions about their health. Whether explaining why a muscle isn't functioning properly, demonstrating healthy movement patterns, or recommending practical lifestyle changes, he enjoys giving people the knowledge and confidence to take an active role in their recovery.

His goal isn't simply to help people feel better.

It's to help them stay healthier, move more confidently, and participate more fully in life.

Life Outside the Office

When he's not in the clinic, Dr. Gard enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters at their home in Beaverton. He also has a lifelong passion for aviation and enjoys flying whenever he can.
